The FAP42RR Retro Ring allows the FAP42T or FAP42TC to be installed into a typical 8 " loudspeaker cut out up to 12". Kit consists of a 13" oversized trim ring and four extension dog legs. The C-Ring/V-Rail included with the FAP42T/FAP42TC mounts atop the tile as normal through the center hole of the FAP42RR. The extended dog legs are tightened and the entire assembly is flush to the ceiling.
** This retro-fit ring will work ONLY with FAP42 and FAP42 series speakers. It will NOT work with FAP43 series speakers. **
SPECIFICATIONS
- Includes a 13.75" oversized trim ring and 4 "Dog Leg" extensions.
- The C-Ring/V-Rail assembly that comes with the FAP42T(C) speaker is mounted atop a ceiling's mineral tile, with the FAP42T(C) mounted through the center hole of the Retro Ring.
- The extended dog legs are then tightened to bring the entire assembly flush to the ceiling
