The Presonus StudioLive 312AI is an 12" 3-Way powered PA speaker with a 2000 Watt Class D amplifier and Presonus' new Active Integration DSP technology.
Announced at NAMM 2013, the new StudioLive AI series of powered PA speakers are a revolutionary new way of designed PA speakers. The StudioLive 312AI is the 3-way 12" in the line. It features an 12" low frequency driver, 8" mid-range driver with coaxially mounted 1.75" titanium compression driver. All this is powered by an incredibly powerful 2000W RMS triamplified Class D amplifier providing tons of reliable and efficient energy to your mix.
The biggest breakthrough in the StudioLive 312AI's design comes in Presonus' new Active Integration DSP technology that is built right in. Active Integration is an extremely powerful 32-bit, 96kHz floating point DSP engine running off an OMAP™ 5 multi-core ARM 2GHz Cortex-A CPU. The StudioLive 312AI connects to the local network via 100Mb Ethernet or WiFi using the included adapter. With the networking technology and DSP engine, you can perform all sorts of tasks in tuning the room and speakers wirelessly with an iPad® as you walk the venue.
The StudioLive™ 312AI’s Active Integration 32-bit, 96 kHz DSP gives these groundbreaking new PA speakers studio-monitor accuracy and delivers wireless and wired control of all setup, tuning, and monitoring functions, using free SL Room Control software for Mac®, Windows®, and iPad®.
