Small Office Sound System Package

Our office sound system kits are some of ProAudioSuperstore's most popular items. We have put together the Small Office Sound System Package for the office manager/owner that wants to install a basic background music and paging sound system but doesn't want to have to hire a contractor to do it.

The Small Office Sound System is focused more on utility, than sound quality. It is a great system for paging and will sound decent for music playback. However, if quality music sound quality is your goal, we suggest looking at our Large Office Sound System Package or the Dentist Office PA Package 1. This system is easy to install. Anyone can do it. We can and will provide you with any technical support you need to install the system, including a basic wiring diagram. Be sure to click on the Videos tab for some info on 70V speaker systems. TOA BG2060 70V Mixer/Amplifier

This is the heart or brains of the system. The BG2060 outputs 60W of power and has inputs for 1 microphone, 1 telephone paging input, as well as 2 inputs for aux/line sources like CD players, iPods, AM/FM, tuners, etc. There is also a module input for use with a TOA 900 series input module, a way of customizing the extra input to your needs.

The TOA BG2060 is a 70V amplifier. What does that mean? Well, it's pretty simple. 70V amplifiers are designed specifically for distributing audio over a large number of speakers without having to worry about impedance loads. There is only one speaker output on the back of the unit. All of the speakers are chained in parallel (positives to positives, negatives to negatives) to the one output. It pushes a very high impedance signal across the line. Each of the speakers has a built in transformer that steps that high impedance signal down to something the speaker itself can actually handle. This is different from your typical home or car stereo system where the amplifier has a low impedance output for each speaker and you have to use speakers that have the correct impedance to match.

Denon DN-500C CD/iPod Player

Ok, so you've got the mixer/amp and speakers, now you need music. One of the most commonly used music sources these days are iPods, iPhones, iPads, and many other portable music players. But, people still have a wide selection of CDs as well. The Denon DN-500C gives you the best of both worlds!

Released at NAMM 2013, the Denon DN-500C is a professional high quality solution for music playback. Designed as a professional device for the commercial market, Denon players have rock solid performace, even when used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The DN-500C has a built-in professional grade CD player with tons of great features like pitch control, random, repeat, and more. It has a built-in iPod® dock with 30-pin connector (compatible with iPhone 5 or 5th Gen iPod Touch using a 30-pin to Lightning adapter). The dock is compatible with any iPod or iPhone. Got a phone or portable player from another manufacturer? No problem, the DN-500C also has an Aux 1/8" stereo input right on the front. There is a source selection button on the front that selects between the 3 sources (CD, iPod Dock, or Aux Input). It couldn't be simpler!
