Atlas Sound SM42T Speakers

Use surface-mount Atlas Sound SM42T loudspeakers where versatility and high-fidelity sound is desired.

All models are constructed of weather resistant materials, in fact the SM series have been evaluated for weather resistance by a stringent 100HR salt spray test per the ASTM B117 standard, and passed the test with no visible corrosion or degradation of performance.

A multi-position, C-shaped mounting bracket is included with each model at no additional cost. Rugged construction provides optimum installation flexibility and assurance of long-term service.

SM42T-B, SM42T-W (8Ω & 70.7V/100V)

The SM42T-B (black) and SM42T-W (white) are compact, 2-way, (8 Ohm/70.7V) weather-resistant, surface mount speakers designed to work in a variety of applications.

System components consist of a highly efficient 4" woofer section and a dome style tweeter. Vocal and musical clarity is optimized by the mathematically conceived, advanced design of the Atlas Sound TRX Control WaveGuide high frequency director. The high frequency section is symmetrical (90˚H x 90˚V) for equal coverage in both the horizontal or vertical cabinet mounting positions.

SM42T includes a 70.7V/100V transformer with screwdriver adjustable tap settings from 2-16 watts for 70.7V/100V distributed sound applications and a transformer bypass setting for direct coupled 8 Ohm applications.
