The Shure Beta 56A is a compact microphone designed specifically for use with drum and instrument applications. It has a pivoting design and an extremely uniform supercardioid pickup pattern that provides high gain before feedback and rejection of unwanted noise. The 56A also features a dynamic locking stand adapter with an integral XLR connector that simplified installation.
