With dual-impedance, this cardioid dynamic microphone provides excellent voice reproduction. The 588SDX includes a spherical grille as well as a highly effective wind and pop filter that's especially good for close miking.

The Shure 588SDX has a unidirectional polar pattern that greatly reduces feedback problems and permits operation closer than usual to loudspeakers. The 588SDX also comes equipped with a lockable on/off switch and internal impedance selection socket located on the XLR connector for switching between high and low impedance. You'll also receive a slip-in swivel adapter for the convenience of stand-mounted use.
