Since 1985 when we introduced Remote Mast, individuals and organizations have expressed much appreciation for this well built device that simplifies the height adjustment of a microphone. Sound recording experts know well the importance of microphone placement, not only to the human source but to musical instruments. At times a few inches can make a world of difference as to clarity or distortion. With Remote Mast, this fine-tuning can be accomplished quickly, even from the control room as the session continues. In addition to microphones, (Photographic Lights, Cameras, and other instruments) are easily adjusted at the touch of a button.

Product ships complete with stand, boom, shock mount mic holder, remote control box, and power supply. You supply the 18 gauge 2 conductor (speaker wire works fine) from the control box to the stand. Wire is attached to a 1/4" connector which plugs into the base of the stand.

- Attractive slim-line construction black steel housing. 12" cast iron base.
- Precision - maintenance free internal construction 12 V-DC permanent magnet motor with planetary gear system. Ball-thrust bearing. Stainless steel lead screw with anti-backlash nut.
- Safe-Low Voltage (12 V-DC) control and power supply. Power supply is wall mounted and UL listed.
- Microphone isolation mount prevents transfer of motion noise to microphone and sound system.
